Okay, I shall update like a good girl because Geri angrily tagged on my tagboard and told me to. She scares me. ):
So it's been a month of IBP at Radio Heatwave. I'm really starting to feel the pressure and the fatigue now. I honestly can't get used to the hectic yet mundane (ironic, I know) lifestyle of 9 to 6 daily, rushing around for events, planning events, e-mailing lots of people, learning too much at one time etc etc etc.
Due to all the above, my body's getting weaker, I'm falling ill ever so often, I'm grumpy and get easily irritated at people/things/situations. Plus, it's really hard when you have to keep things to yourself and pretend you don't know anything when you know more than you need to or want to know.
But thank god for convos or meet-ups with Geri, convos with dear sec sch friends and skype calls with ClarFlarrrrrr. (:
Geri makes me smile and keeps my life interesting. I know saying this will make her go "HAH I TOLD YOU SO!" and I hate to let her know she's right. But yeah, it's the truth. I adore her. Although she's evil, scheming, illogical, too imaginative for her own good, likes to turn my worries into jokes, like to take words too literally (menoPAUSE), watches too much drama and oh did i mention oh-so-evil? Those were compliments, yes. HEHE. But oh, she was so sweet, she went to Taiwan and bought me very useful stuff unlike others who might just simply pick out mass souvenirs. Can tell she put in effort picking out the gifts which made me really happy and/or touched. :D Thank youuuuuuu, the dream catcher is working well. (:
The sec sch friends are so lovable. They always never fail to make me laugh like crazy with their silly antics and jokes. Just had a mass convo with them earlier and had such a good laugh lol. Meeting up with them tomorrow for HF's birthday party. Gonna celebrate YN and HF's birthday together like we do every year so I'm gearing myself up for a good talking and laughing session. I'm just pretty relieved we're all still pretty tight even after we split schools and stuff.
And ClarFlar! I just finished talking to her for about 20 plus minutes on Skype! Glad to know she's doing well and slowly getting used to life there although she's so homesick. I really miss her... She's only been gone for 3 weeks and it feels like she's been gone for more than a month already. =/ I really regret not being able to meet up with her before she left. Updated her on what was happening around here, told her some stuff that were bugging me and she did the same. It felt really nice. We should do it again sometime. (:
Okay this was a really boring post, like all my other posts. But I really just wanted to thank these people for having been there. I know I've been an emo wreck and whiny toad. I'll change this as much as possible and as soon as possible. (:
On a side note: Campus Radio on Power 98 is airing this Sunday from 10 to 11am! The Heatwave crew is taking part, including me. But this Sunday's show is for Mag, Khurshed and Lamont. But then again, I know it's a Sunday morning and you guys wanna sleep in. I totally understand if you oversleep and miss it. Cause I have a feeling I might. =x Haha kidding.
